There has been a break in and the police are coming to check the place out. So we are all being very quiet, because we don't know when they are to show up. We would not have known there had been a break in if it weren't for Mr.Sleegers wife. That’s not even the scariest part of it all. Its Easter Sunday and we can’t move, and the whole building is silent until a point. We heard something down below, but then we heard it coming up the stairs. We were very scared we didn't know who it was. Then there was a rattling at the bookcase we knew we were done for. There it was again, then we heard a can fall and the footsteps went away. We all stayed were we were, we didn't hear anybody but we saw a light we just thought that someone could be keeping guard. Well the light is gone. So we are safe for now. Well this looks like this will be my last blog so good bye.

Everyone STOP THAT! I feel like my head is going to explode. I really mean it I'm not in love with Peter. Just because I hang out with him all the time, we spend time alone, and talk about some personal things. Doesn't mean that I'm in love with him, Okay well I really do, I was afraid that Margot might like him. But I asked her and she said that she didn't. It makes me really happy that she doesn't. I just think that he is really handsome and funny guy. But my mother thinks that I spend too much time with him and not enough with her. But we see each other anyway. We even have kissed, it was amazing. From then on, and even before, all I dream about is him and his lips against mine. I want my parents to know that I'm not a little girl anymore. I just wish they understood, sometimes I think that my father will be the only one.

All About Me Blog

Today is the day, we are going into hiding. You know how I know? Earlier today Margot left to the office. We are supposed to meet her there. Me, Mother and Father were gathering up as much stuff as we could carry. I was wearing almost eight layers of clothing, and we were carrying bags filled to the brim. We had to walk all the way there because our bikes were taken. I hope everything is going to be alright. What if we were to be found then what? The Annex is behind a bookcase in the private office, in father’s office building. We will be helped by fathers most trusted employees. Father said that we will only have to miss school for a bit. Because then he would start teaching us. I'm not sure I’m going to like living in the Annex because we will be living with the Van Daans.

Me and Margot will be sharing a room. When we got there we started putting things away. Mother started getting tired and didn't feel like putting on the sheets for the bed. So me and father ended up putting them on because we didn't feel like sleeping without sheets.
